FC-100 is used specially in air conditioner ducts installation, attached to fan units to prevent stresses due to expansion and contraction, to conserve vibrations, and to compensate for misalignment. The exible connector is made of high-quality galvanised steel from Nippon Steel, with a lightweight fibreglass fabric base that is coated with silicone on both sides.
